Sinead Leahy is a Managing Director at Cardano having joined in September 2022. She is a senior pension investment professional with over 20 years-experience working with large, DB pension schemes. Sinead has a background in pension risk management and has worked across covenant and actuarial teams to devise journey plans helping numerous schemes optimise their risk budget. Sinead has considerable experience executing transactions including some of the earliest LDI trades and specialises in fixed income, derivatives and alternative assets. With strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, she has a collaborative mindset and has successfully built a number of pension focused businesses.

Sinead was previously the Head of Pension Investment Consulting at PwC and Head of Pension Solutions at NatWest Markets. She understands all the issues facing trustee boards as she is currently a Trustee Director and Investment Committee member of a £1bn+ DB pension scheme.

Sinead is certified by the FCA and holds a CFA UK certificate in Investment Management (IMC).
